Work performed while working at Accent Graphics & Communications (AGC), in 2013 I volunteered to take the lead on a new charity walk program for one of our clients, the Immune Deficiency Foundation (IDF). After a successful first year with three walks, IDF expanded the program each year until they reached 12 national walks with several additional “community walks.”
My responsibilities included working with IDF’s development team on each year’s print & web materials, coordinate printing, and provide project & price summaries at the end of each year. Design work would begin with flyers, rack cards, and stationary to develop that year’s look; then expand to signage, banners, apparel, pins, social media graphics, and more! As projects were completed and approved I would order prints from a variety of vendors and ship them to the printing/shipping company that was storing everything up until the events.
Software used: Adobe InDesign for layout of print & web graphics; Adobe Illustrator for icons, graphics, and pins; Adobe Photoshop for photo touch up as needed

New in 2018, maps were requested to assist the set up crews in positioning the tents, tables, and exhibits. Using Google Map screenshots, with the IDF development team’s guidance I overlayed graphics to create “Exhibit Maps.”
Excited about how well the Exhibit Maps worked for the first couple walks, the same was done for “Route Maps” that were printed on the backs of the programs.
Also new in 2018 were Snapchat geofilters that I created for each site and their Marketing person implemented.
